Three baby girls were delivered during the early hours of New Year’s Day 2025 at the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre .
Kenya Alexander and Vaskie Isaac greeted 2025’s first arrival at 12:08am – their daughter weighing 7 pounds 8 ounces.
Two more girls followed: Alisha Christopher and Javaughn Ralph’s daughter at 2:55am (7 pounds 5.5 ounces), and Shi-Ann St Helen’s baby girl at 4:40am (7 pounds 7 ounces).
The pattern mirrors New Year’s Day 2024, when three mothers also delivered girls. Ndea Joseph’s daughter arrived first at 12:32am, weighing 6 pounds 11.5 ounces.
Later that afternoon, Novelette Smith and Shary-Mae Josiah welcomed their daughters – at 1:31pm and 2:38pm respectively.
The key difference is that this year’s celebrations came earlier, with all three births occurring before sunrise, compared to 2024’s afternoon deliveries.
