Three couples get set to tie the knot

Three couples are preparing to tie the knot on national television, come February 14.

The lucky couples have been selected to participate in an annual Good Morning Antigua Barbuda wedding programme which relieves participants of wedding expenses and climaxes on Valentine’s Day.

This year, Sandals Grand Antigua Resort and Spa has announced its partnership with the popular television show in hosting the affair.

“Now in its ninth year, the Valentine’s Day affair will see Sandals Antigua reuniting with the show’s producers and hosts after a similar partnership nine years ago on February 14th when the live wedding programme aired for the first time in the Caribbean,” a Sandals release said.

This year will see Sandals taking on the weddings of Junelle Joseph and Glenworth Prince, Robin Francis and David George and Juste Zechariah and Samantha Aubrey.

“These three lovely couples will have full creative control over their big day and we will just guide them accordingly, all in an effort to produce the wedding of their dreams,” Wedding Supervisor Lydia Timothy said.

The couples, this week, were to have met with their wedding planners to fine-tune the details of their ceremony and reception, including cake, linen options and wedding colours.

The Good Morning Antigua & Barbuda Valentine’s Day Wedding episode will air live on ABS TV from 6:30 am on February 14.
