An 11-member contingent will contest the upcoming Caribbean Jr. Invitational at the National Tennis Centre in Antigua from May 4-8.
Seven girls: Ariel Kelsick, Brasha Dyer, Aysha Hosam, Sydney Kentish, Janae George Alexander, Zoe James and Sanjita Raghu, and four boys – Jaiden Julien, Jaydon Marcano, Xaveek Toppin and Justyn Raeburn – will represent Antigua and Barbuda at the event.
Sibley Charles was the most recent Antiguan to win the event as last year she claimed titles in the girl’s singles and doubles partnering with Brasha Dyer.
Dyer will be making a return this year while Charles will not be competing.
The event, which is in its 6th year, is the brain child of the Antigua and Barbuda Tennis Association (ABTA) and will feature 38 players from age 12 and under from the British Virgin Islands, United States, Bermuda, France, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia and host, Antigua and Barbuda.
