A 17-year-old male who went to the G-Spot Nightclub to “wind down” from the excitement of Last Lap on Tuesday night, was stabbed multiple times following a disagreement with a female, and lawmen are looking for his attackers.

The victim, who is a juvenile and therefore cannot be named, was stabbed in the upper back around 3:30 am on Wednesday, after spending several hours in a room with a female where his cellular phone valued $210 was allegedly stolen.

The victim claims that he went to the Independence Avenue club late Tuesday and he had the Alcatel POP 4 Smart phone in his possession for the entire time he was with the female.

He said as he was walking down the stairs to leave the club early Wednesday, he realised he no longer had the phone, so he turned back and confronted the woman in the room, demanding the return of his phone.

The woman allegedly denied having the phone, so the young man took up the cash which was on a table in the woman’s room.

He recounted to investigators that several men “rushed” him, and he was stabbed multiple times by those individuals. According to him, he does not know any of his attackers. The teen was treated at Mount St. John’s Medical Centre and the matter was reported to lawmen who are said to be investigating.

The youngster’s injuries are, according to a police report, not life threatening.
