Anjo Wholesale, Antigua Power Company (APC) and Eye Mobile Vision Care were all winners in the Cool & Smooth-sponsored Business Basketball League when action continued at the JSC Basketball Complex on Tuesday.
Playing in the opening game of a triple-header, Anjo Wholesale recorded the biggest margin of victory on the night, beating Board of Education (BoE) 64-42. Steven Matthew led the scoring for the victors with 20 points, nine rebounds, six assists and four steals. Ismael Palemo contributed with 17 points and 10 rebounds. In a losing effort, Xavier Meade and David Hernandez both sank nine points. Hernandez also grabbed eight rebounds.
In the night’s second encounter, Antigua Power Company (APC) had the better of Sledge O’s 61-58. Tristan Jacobs led the charge for the victors, sinking a game high of 23 points, while grabbing eight rebounds. Ezekiel Francois contributed with 16 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks. Coy Quinland was the top scorer for Sledge O’s with 19 points. Michael Jeffers and Kareem Edwards contributed with 11 and 10 points respectively.
In the feature encounter, Eye Mobile Vision Care beat Fearless Crew 52-48. Jaylele Joseph was the top performer for Eye Mobile with 14 points, seven rebounds and four steals. There were 12 points each for Tehran Zachariah and Dominick Anthony. Zachariah also had eight rebounds and four steals while Anthony had nine rebounds and seven blocks. For Fearless Crew, Takeem Martin had 15 points and 11 rebounds while Joel Christian picked up 13 points.
