Several clubs and teams have confirmed their participation for the Youth Soccerama which takes place on December 9 from 10am-4pm at the Buckley’s Primary School Playing Field.
To date, players representing sides from All Saints, Gray’s Green, Freeman’s Village, Earthquake of Fort Road, Buckley’s, John Hughes will be competing for top honours in four age categories: U7, U9, U11, U13.
Organisers say they are awaiting confirmation from a few more clubs and teams and have indicated that they will add another two age-categories: U15 & U17 based on interest shown by some teams.
The top three teams in each age-category will receive trophies while the top goal-scorer and best player in each division will be awarded the golden both and golden ball statutes.
A fundraising breakfast soups & barbeque will form part of the activities while there will be fun events such as the bounce castle, the trampoline and lucky dip.
Live entertainment featuring soca, calypso, steelpan, reggae and dancehall will take place from 4pm-7pm following the soccerama.
