Ottos Comprehensive School (OCS) continued their impressive form in the Patrick C Whyte Male Under-20 competition on Wednesday, securing a convincing 3-1 victory over Clare Hall Secondary School (CHSS), while Antigua Grammar School (AGS) edged past Irene B. Williams School (IBWS) in a tight contest.
The OCS victory was highlighted by a strong first-half performance that saw them build a commanding 3-0 lead. Silence Manyaka opened the scoring in the 11th minute, followed by Player of the Match Demarre Swift extending the lead in the 35th minute. TeAndre Elliott added a third just before halftime in the 43rd minute, effectively securing the result for OCS.
CHSS showed resilience in the second half, with Jayden Martin pulling one back in the 69th minute, but it proved to be merely a consolation as OCS maintained control to secure all three points.
In the day’s other match, AGS claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over IBWS, with Damarie Stevens earning Player of the Match honors for his commanding performance.
