A man is being questioned by the police in connection with reports of break-ins into two separate places of worship on Sunday.
The suspect was picked earlier this evening, and is assisting the police with their investigations.
On Sunday, November 24, two men broke into the St. John’s Pentecostal Church (S.J.P.C) House of Restoration around 3:30 am and ransacked two offices.
Nothing was reported stolen.
During the incident, one of the perpetrators allegedly attempted to shoot a member of the church; however, no one was injured.
Meantime, someone allegedly broke into the Baptist Retreat Centre at Pares and stole two monitors, a quantity of agricultural produce, a propane gas cylinder, and other food items from the chapel.
This incident occurred sometime between 1pm on Saturday, 23rd November and 7:45am the following day.
