Police are continuing investigations into a shooting incident on Redcliffe Street, which resulted in the death of 22-year-old Javaughn Joseph of Jennings and left Kejauni Adams of Parham nursing a gunshot wound.
It was reported that around 3 am on Monday, December 16, an unknown male discharged a firearm, while both men were on Redcliffe Street, and shot them.
Joseph sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen, while Adam was shot in the back of his neck.
They were taken to the hospital, where Joseph was pronounced dead at 3:36 am. Adams was treated and later discharged.
