The Police Narcotics Department and Customs have made yet another drug seizure at the V.C. Bird International Airport.
On Wednesday, 18 December, both law enforcement agencies seized a black suitcase with 28 vacuum-sealed packages of illegal cannabis weighing 33. 4 pounds.
The substance is said to value $267,200.
The suitcase and contents were taken to the police station for further investigation.
On Tuesday, the police seized almost half of a million dollars worth of cannabis at the said port of entry, after 60 packages were discovered in a suitcase.
Investigations are still ongoing into that matter.
