Stoneville one step closer to back-to-back title

Defending Male champions, Stoneville are one step closer to securing their second straight title in the Antigua and Barbuda Volleyball Association (ABVA) League.

Stoneville, last Thursday, moved their record to 9-1 after trouncing Sharks in straight sets, winning 25-17, 25-17, 25-14.

Sharks with this loss now moved to a 2-9 record.

The champions will face off versus second place Pytonz in their final match. The winner of that encounter will hoist the title.

Neil Cochrane Da Squad joined Stoneville in the winner’s circle after handing North Coast Hardware (NCH) Starz Nova 3-1 in sets, winning, 25-22, 25-19, 16-25, 25-20.

Games will continue on Tuesday at 6:30 pm as Paragons will battle NCH Starz Nova while the championship match will follow after with Stoneville versus Pytonz.
