LJ Northside Stingerz kept their unbeaten run in Division One of the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) competition alive on Thursday with an annihilating 65 points trouncing of Rockersville, winning the contest 118-53 at the JSC basketball court.
Stingerz was led by Akeem Boyd who scored 26 points off the bench. James Barbee Jr assisted with 24 points with Devorn Benjamin adding 17 points to the winning effort. Kenny Doumechet and Mahijah Davis contributed with 11 points each.
Nigel Joseph led the way for Rockersville in a losing effort with 20 points, while Troy Robertson picked up nine points and eight rebounds.
In the other Division One game contested Thursday, Potters Steelers beat Ottos Full Throttle 80-50. They were led by Cohen DeSouza with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Kebo Orford scored 13 off the bench. Andrew Venture also contributed to the victory with 11 points.
Warren Bogle was the only scorer of note for Full Throttle with 24 points.
