North Coast Hardware Starz and High Flyerz were winners in the female and male division of the Antigua and Barbuda Volleyball Association (ABVA) national competition held at the body’s indoor facility at the YMCA Sports Complex on Wednesday.
Playing in the female division, Starz were 3-0 set winners over Stoneville in the night’s opening contest. They won 25-20, 25-23 and 25-20 in the one-sided affair.
Meanwhile, in the men’s division, High Flyers defeated Sharks 25-09 in the opening set, 25-19 in the second set, and 25-11 in the third set to win by a 3-0 margin.
