St. Mary’s suffer double losses in School Netball

St. Mary’s School of Excellence suffered double losses on Wednesday afternoon in the Inter-School Netball league.
First in the 18 and Under category, St. Mary’s fell to Irene B. Williams, 14-5.
Goal attack, Cherez George scored 9 out of her 21 attempts while goal shooter, Richeema Brissette sank 5 out of 17 to secure the win.
Elisha Toussaint scored 3 out of her 10 attempts while teammates, Zenita Browne and Unique Parker both made 1.
 Pares Secondary would give St. Mary’s their second loss of the day this time in the 16 and Under category.
Christ the King High were also 1-1 that day.
In the 18 and Under category, CKHS were trounced by Jennings Secondary, 25-7.
They would however bounce back in the 16 and Under section versus the same team edging them out, 10-8.
Nicola Augustine and Keana Aska both scored 4 goals for the victors while Leah Burton netted 7 for CKHS.
Mary Jean Grant made 3 goals in a losing effort.
