The St John’s Co-operative Credit Union, a proud advocate for helping the less fortunate in the community, has once again risen to the call by Matron Christopher of the Fiennes Institute to assist them in terms of cleaning products and adult diapers.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the Institute, Matron Christopher thanked the team at SJCCU for making the donation. The matron told the audience that it was less than a month ago she came into contact with the team from St John’s Co-operative Credit Union when they donated and planted a few fruit trees on the compound. She was pleased to see that, like the trees, the relationship with SJCCU was growing as is evidenced by their donation and she thanked them for the gesture.

Peta-Gay Rodney, General Manager of SJCCU, made the presentation and remarked, “The St John’s Co-operative Credit Union was pleased to assist the Fiennes Institute by way of this donation.” Rodney further stated that the Credit Union believes in People helping People and acknowledged the Community Outreach Committee who were the driving force behind the initiative.
