Six thousand APUA meters to be replaced

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority says it will replace thousands of meters across the island in the next six months.

That is APUA’s consumer Services Superintendent, Veronica Yearwood.
She says the estimated bills are not a satisfactory position for either the consumer or the Authority.
Yearwood explains that some customers have complained of receiving high estimated bills while several consumers with traditionally high-billing are charged for minimal consumption.
