Senior cop’s home searched

Police officers are right now searching the home of one of their own, senior police officer Ray John.

John’s home is in Gunthorpes where OBSERVER media arrived not long ago.

At least a dozen officers are on scene at John’s home executing the search.

A K-9 unit was also brought in to assist the officers in searching the premises.

At one point, police officers removed two large brown paper bags from the home.

It is not confirmed what was in the bags but it may be evidence.

The head of the Police Criminal Investigation Department Clayton Davis is also on scene. Ray John, the officer is also at the scene in his police uniform.

Vehicle access to the road has been blocked.
