Joumol Semper recorded a hattrick as he led Police to a resounding 4-0 triumph over the struggling Liberta Blackhawks when they met in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) First Division on Thursday at the body’s Technical Center.
Semper scored in minutes 17, 60 and 75 as he dominated the Blackhawks defence, while Jalan Willock had a single conversion in the 24th minute.
There was a similar margin of victory as well for Lion Hill as they conquered Bolans FC 4-0 when they met at Golden Grove.
Tristan Davis led the way with a double strike, netting in minutes 25 and 68 while there were single strikes from Jaquan Joseph who scored in the 15th, and O’Neil Brown who netted from the penalty spot in the 30th minute.
Also, on Thursday, Swetes FC enjoyed a close 3-2 win over FC Master Ballers. There were single conversions from Jondale Jno-Lewis in minute 16, Shalon Knight in minute 51 and T’noy Andrew in minute 55.
Shemarah Andrew and Greg Eustace Williams both struck once in a losing effort for Master Ballers, hitting the back of the net in minutes 14 and 87, respectively.
In Thursday’s other encounter, SAP FC and Jennings United played to a 1-1 draw when they met at Bolans.
Jean-Pierre Williams had put Jennings ahead in minute 66 when he struck from the penalty spot while Tyrique Tonge scored an added time equaliser for the home team, netting in the 90th plus two.
