Semi-finals set for Business Basketball league

Four teams will battle it out in the semi-finals for a spot in the finals in the Cool and Smooth-sponsored Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Business League.
The teams secured their semi-finals spots after recording wins on Tuesday night at the JSC Sports Complex.
Anjo Wholesale claimed the first semi-final spot as they edged out APUA 
Head Office 61-59 in overtime.
Sharife Sergeant led the victors with 15 points.
 Teammate Andrew “Puss” Venture assisted with 14 points. 
Olivee’ Morris and Kwame Braithwaite both netted 16 points for Head Office.
Blue Waters, despite being eliminated by the newly crowned league champions, Sandals, exited with pride as they left it all on the court.
The 70-64 overtime match-up saw Devorn Benjamin lead Sandals with a game high 32 points with assistance from teammate Adissa “Rass-I” Harris who sank 18.
Blue Waters’ Ishan Peets sank 22 points while teammates Kareem Jacobs and Tristan Jacobs contributed with 16 and 14 respectively.
Former champions, Kennedys, received a 55-34 thrashing by newbies Pointe FM.
Kennedys could not seem to get it right struggling on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court. 
Javon Simon had 15 points for Kennedys while Selassie Braithwaite led the victors with 17 points.
In the other match played that night, defending playoff champions, Antigua and Barbuda Transport Board (ABTB) earned the final semi-final spot trouncing Eye Mobile 76-60.
Bryan “Hollywood” Matthew led the champions with 28 points.
Teammates, Kareem “Macky” Edwards and Marlon “Buju” Charles  contributed  22 and 16 points.
Eye Mobile’s Darryl Goodwin netted 26 points while teammates Adonis Humphreys and Zuri 
Nesbitt netted 10 points each. 
The semi-finals, which are scheduled to shoot off on Sunday at 7 p.m., will see Sandals face off Pointe FM while at 8 p.m. Anjo Wholesale will battle Transport Board at JSC. 
The  encounters still follow the one-game elimination format.
