It was a fourth-place finish for International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (IFBB) Elite Pro, Melissa Seaforth, in this weekend’s Mr Universe Prague edition.
Seaforth, who was fresh off last month’s win in the Bikini Fitness Class in the Jan Tana Classic World Qualifier held in Stockholm, Sweden, was edged out of a spot on the pedestal on Saturday in Prague, Czech Republic.
Czech Republic took the top three spots with Renata Souckova claiming the overall title and country women, Jana Jerabkova and Monika Spackova finishing second and third respectively.
“I’m extremely proud of myself for making the journey out and even with my placement, I feel like it was judged fairly. It was a packed line up and I couldn’t have been any prouder of myself,” Seaforth told this newsroom hours after the competition.
Following her success at the Jan Tana Classic in April, Seaforth joined twin sister and 2021 Arnold Classic third place finisher, Michelle Seaforth, and 2021 champion Ambassador, Kimberly Percival, as the qualifiers thus far for this year’s event.
She will continue her preparation for September’s Arnold Classic set for Seville, Spain on the 17th.
