Sea View Farm, Glanvilles and Freeman’s Village Scorpions record wins in Second Division

Seaview Farm FC recorded the largest score line victory on Tuesday afternoon in the ongoing Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Second Division thrashing Belmont 4-1 at home.

Goals came from Chevon Moore (38th), Jaheem Sheppard (46th), Markland Wright (51st) and Zafique Samson (53rd). This win moves the victors to 4th on the Zone Two 13-team standings with 16 points while Belmont are 9th with eight.

Tavin Looby was Belmont’s lone scorer.

Meanwhile in Zone One, FC Master Ballers hammered Ace Trucking and Heavy-duty Equipment Glanvilles 3-0 while Freemans Village Scorpions stunned 5P’s Wadadli FC, beating them 2-0.

Stanley Walters (62nd), Kenroy Stay (76th) and Peter Jacobs (83rd) all found the back of the net for Master Ballers as they are now 4th with 20 points.

Glanvilles are 11th with nine points.

Darius Hector recorded a brace for the Scorpions scoring in the 64th and 68th minutes. They now skipped to 8th with 11 points while 5P’s dropped to 10th with nine.

In the other match played that day, Abaya pulled off an upset handing National Parks English Harbour a 2-1 defeat.

Lance Williams (72nd) and Tarril Stephens (78th) found the back of the net for the victors to move them to 9th with 10 points.

English Harbour’s Xavier Richards was the lone goal-scorer as they slipped to 3rd with 21 points.
