SAP appoints Director of Youth program

Following the appointment of former national female footballer Devita Samuel as SAP FC’s Director of Female Football, the local team has appointed a Director of Youth Football.

RackleyLeachThomas will take up the mantle as Head Coach and Director of the programme.

The former University of Missouri Baptist student, after playing for both the Jennings Secondary School (JSS) and the Under-19 National team, made his debut for the Senior Men’s team in 1998.

He also led SAP to their first title in the 2005-06 season.

Thomas is the holder of a CONCACAF D-License course and is the Assistant Coach of the Men’s team.

SAP FC team hails from the Bolans area and were recently demoted to the First Division of the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) after over 10 years of being in the Antigua Premier League (APL).

Meanwhile, Team Antigua Island Girls skipper Kevinia Francis was appointed as the SAT Tutor, Certified Sports Performance Coach, and a Core and Strength Fitness Trainer, for the CAF-Generation Next Football Club (GNFC) Advance Academy.
