Former champions, Sandals recorded the largest margin of victory over the weekend in the ongoing Cool and Smooth Business League Basketball as they recorded a 103-73 win over Burton’s Laundry at JSC.
Keroi “Dragon” Lee led the charge for the victors with a game high 35 points.
He was assisted by national player Raviel Burton who had 30 points, and speedster Adissa “Rass-I” Harris who chipped in by sinking 11.
Burton’s Reginald “Reggie” Barnes was the lead scorer for that team with 22 points, while teammates Michael Burton and Damion “Duckman” Floyd contributed, netting 16 and 12 points respectively.
Sandals now moves to a 7-4 record, while Burton’s are 5-6.
Another former champion Kennedys joined Sandals in the winner’s circle as they trounced Digicel 68-47.
Warren Bogle had 14 points for the victors with assistance from Adriel Ramirez who sank 13.
Digicel’s Raymond Dickenson had 19 points and his teammate Jamar Bird scored 12 in a losing effort.
In the other match played that night Eye Mobile Vision Care defeated APUA Water 95-40.
Tehran Zachariah was the lead scorer for the victors with 20 points.
Teammates, Bernard Andrew and Javonte Daley had 16 and 15 points, respectively.
Tshawn Lewis also got in on the action by banking 14 for Eye Mobile.
Toriano Matthew and Winston Roberts both scored nine points for Water.
Games will continue tonight at the JSC Sports Complex starting at 6:30 as A Mobile will play Dixie while at 7:30 Area 51 Invaders will face FLOW. In the feature encounter at 8:30, Burton’s Laundry will battle APUA Head Office.
