The Cool & Smooth ABBA Business Basketball League 2024 saw an exciting night of action on Sunday evening, with two of three closely contested matches that kept fans glued to the edge of their seats. Sandals, H Wright Promotions and Anjo Wholesale were victorious in their match ups.
One of the night’s closest encounters, Anjo Wholesale narrowly defeated Eye Mobile Vision Care with a score of 76-75. Steven Matthew and Ismael Palemo led Anjo Wholesale with 18 points each, with Palemo also contributing 9 rebounds. Damion Floyd added 17 points and 10 rebounds to secure the win.
Eye Mobile Vision Care put up a strong fight, led by Tajahron Davis and Orion Seraphine, who both scored 20 points. Davis also recorded an impressive 6 steals, while Tehran Zachariah contributed 18 points and 7 steals in the losing effort.
Sandals made it 7-0 with a commanding 77-39 victory over Fearless Crew. T-Shawn Lewis led the charge for Sandals with 20 points and 5 steals, while Keroi Lee delivered an all-round performance with 17 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Keaddy Martin also contributed significantly with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
Despite the lopsided score, Fearless Crew’s Takeem Martin put up a valiant effort with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
In another tight contest, H Wright Promotions emerged victorious over the Board of Education with a score of 62-60. Donte Trimingham led H Wright Promotions with 16 points and 3 steals, while Ironic Joseph and Humroy Wright each added 11 points. Jevonte Valerie rounded out the balanced attack with 10 points and 4 steals.
The Board of Education’s Xavier Meade had a standout performance in the loss, scoring a game-high 21 points and grabbing 9 rebounds.
