National boxer Alston Ryan continues to dominate on the International boxing scene.

Ryan, representing the London-based Repton Boxing club — the same club in which country man Maurice Hope competed — claimed top honours in the Haringley Box Cup at U64kgs over the weekend at the Alexandra Palace in London after winning by unanimous decision over Louie Odoherty of the Essex University Boxing Club.

The light-welterweight boxer advanced to the finals on Sunday after winning by spilt decision over Jamie Edwards of Triumph ABC in the quarter-finals.

He then continued his winning ways on Saturday in the semi-finals with a victory over John Henderson by unanimous decision.

Ryan won the Vacant London 64kg belt at the England Boxing Championship Belt show in Dagenham last month.
