The finals of the Cool & Smooth ABBA Business Basketball Playoff Series is set, as Richie’s Shooterz secured their finals berth with a decisive 51-46 victory over Anjo Wholesale to win their semifinal series 2-1.
Led by Cohen Desouza‘s 23-point performance, Richie’s Shooterz outlasted a determined Anjo Wholesale team, who got 13 points from Steven Matthew in the series-deciding game. The victory sets up an intriguing championship matchup against Sandals, who had previously secured their finals spot with a 2-0 sweep of Antigua Power Company.
The best-of-three championship series is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:30pm at the JSC Sports Complex. Game 2 will follow on Thursday, November 7th, with a potential decisive Game 3 slated for Saturday, November 9th if necessary. All games will tip off at 7:30pm.
