Residents are giving the governing Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) two thumbs down for its performance one year into its second term.

One person described the government’s performance as “a headache” saying that “they say one thing and then do another…and that is frustrating”.

On March 21st 2018, the ABLP celebrated one year since it won the general elections by an overwhelming 15-2 margin.

Prime Minister Gaston Browne, in reviewing the year, said the investments attracted so far by his government are not yet visible, but insisted the ABLP administration has made many strides since being elected to office.

However, in the interviews conducted by OBSERVER with some people in St. John’s, it was evident they were not satisfied with the government’s report card.

They said the Gaston Browne-led administration has been feeding the people of Antigua and Barbuda with empty promises.
