Registration opens for Run in Paradise marathon

The Race Director for the Run in Paradise marathon, Stanley Humphreys, says things are in place for Antigua and Barbuda to host the 2023 instalment of the event slated for May 28.

This will be its seventh year and will feature a 13-mile, six-mile and three-mile run/walk components. This event attracts and brings endurance runners from around the globe as it is advertised worldwide.

Athletes from New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, North Carolina, Georgia all in the USA and others from England have already registered for the event. A number of Antiguan athletes have also registered.

Currently, registration is being done on line at www.runinparadise.com and organisers are planning to hand out registration forms locally for those who will be registering here.

Each participant will receive a race packet and in it a race t-shirt and race bib among other things, while all participants who complete the race will receive a medal.
