A record-breaking 63 athletes have registered for the upcoming Antigua and Barbuda Bodybuilding and Weightlifting Federation National Competition slated for August 24th.
The athletes will be competing in 12 categories.
Mr. Antigua and Barbuda Ollyn Martin will be returning to defend his crown in the Bodybuilding category against tough competition from Alfred Allen, Adriel Joseph, Chevez Knight, Dale Gardner, Dwayne George, Dylan Jonas, Jonte’ Barnes, Joshua Stoute, Rodney George, Semaj Barnes, Tony Phillip and Travon Giddings.
Bikini Wellness champion Shari Brown will hope to secure the newly implemented category for the second consecutive year as she faces off versus Adama Godfrey, Ahjanya King, Alana Michael, Alexa Perry, Alisha Thomas, Danielle Ward and Shunette Roache.
A new Bikini fitness champion will be crowned as the six-time champion Kimberly Ephraim-Percival will not be competing in this year’s event.
This leaves Claudette Harris, Geanna Jules, Kelly-Ann Boatswain, Kemberly Greenaway, Laura Merchant, Leanna Carrington, Makiva Elvin, Melissa Seaforth, Michelle Seaforth and Yvette Butler to battle it out.
