Real Stats record first win

Real Stats recorded their first win on Tuesday afternoon in the Anderson E. Carty Grays Green Football League at the King George V Grounds.

They defeated Jennings 2-0 in the second match of the triple header evening with goals from Otay McDougal and Johndale Jno-Lewis.

This win moves the victors to third on the eight-team Zone B standings with four points while Jennings dropped to sixth despite having the same point standings as the country team have a negative one goal difference to Real Stats’ plus one.

In the other Zone A match, Nat Pan My Team (NPMT) and Bullets played to a 3-all draw.

Jason Benjamin recorded a brace for NPMT with teammate Everton Henry scoring the third and final goal.

Roderick Williams was a goal shy of a hattrick for Bullets while teammate Casim Stevens netted the equalising goal.

NPMT moved up to seventh on the standings with one point while Bullets are in fifth with four points and a goal difference of zero.

Meanwhile, in the lone Zone A encounter, A.E. Carty Titans edged out Potters FC 1-0.

Oba Francis scored the winning goal for the victors to move them to fourth on the eight-team standings with six points.
