Work appeared to finally be underway on the long-neglected Sunshine Hub Car Park in St John’s on Wednesday. Fencing poles have been erected and workmen could be seen on site.
Hopes are high that the promised US$7.5 million project to repair and complete the multi-storey facility on Independence Drive will ease parking woes in the capital.
The scheme has been beset by delays since government bought the property in March 2017.
