The medical clinic at St John’s Health Centre – on lower All Saint’s Road has been closed indefinitely due to persistent vermin infestation.
This is according to Medical Officer for Health Dr. Oritta Zachariah. She says lice, rats and roaches plague the operations of the office.
Dr. Zachariah tells OBSERVER media that concern from international agencies ultimately made health ministry decide to close the clinic.
She is asking residents who usually visit the St John’s Health Centre to go to other clinics as no doctor will be present since the clinic is now closed.
