Former Premier Division contenders Ottos Rangers are still unbeaten after seven matches in the Antigua and Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) First Division with their latest triumph coming against Lion Hill on Thursday when they whipped their neighbours 2-0 at Golden Grove.
Rangers netted on either sides of the half with Josue Arias opening the scoring in minute 42 while George Lake wrapped up the three points in a bow for the Ottos men when he struck five minutes for regulation time.
The win moves Rangers to 19 points after seven outings at the top of the standings.
Meanwhile, Freeman’s Village Scorpions made light work of Police, winning their fixture by a 3-0 margin when they clashed at Johnsons.
Scorpions had goals from Ronique James in the fifth minute, Malik Charles in the 15th and Johnathon Johnson in the 88th minute.
There was triumph as well for Jennings United as they edged FC Master Ballers one-nil (1-0) at Radio Range. Gayon Wright scored the only goal of the contest when he hit the back of the net in minute 17.
Also on Thursday, Bolans FC had the better of Tryum FC 2-1 when they met at Cashew Hill. Alex Joseph (5) and Taiem Tonge (63) were on target for Bolans while Francios Joseph (74) netted for Tryum.
