Rangers losing streak continues

Ottos Rangers pushed their losing streak to 0-3 on Thursday afternoon in the ongoing Anderson E Carty Grays Green Football League.

Playing at the Greenbay football field, more commonly known as “Pert”, Rangers went under to Potters FC 2-0 in their Zone A bout.

Keon Greene was the man of the match for the victors as Greene was a goal shy of a hattrick.

With this win, Potters now sit in the 5th spot with three points, while Ottos remain in the 6th spot of the eight-team standings, still without a point.

In the other Zone B encounter, last year’s finalists El Guapo recorded a score-less draw versus A.E. Carty Titans.

Titans now move to

3rd with seven points,

while El Guapo are in the 2nd position edging out the Titans with a better goal difference.

Meanwhile, the lone Zone A match-up between Jennings and Nat Pan My Team was postponed.

Matches will continue on Monday at 5 pm at the King George V Grounds with a general admission of $2.
