Antigua Girls’ High School dominated St Mary’s Secondary 6-0 in Under-16 Female football, led by Nafissa Quashie‘s brilliant five-goal performance. Quashie struck early with goals in the 4th and 8th minutes, completed her hat-trick in the 23rd, and added two more in the 25th and 45th minutes.
Na’jireh Wijnaldum contributed to the scoring with a 16th-minute strike as AGHS continued their impressive attacking form this season.
In basketball, Island Academy’s Junior boys demonstrated their dominance with a one sided 40-4 victory over Sir Novelle Richards Academy in school basketball action. Alexander Fuller led all scorers with an impressive 22 points, accounting for more than half of his team’s total output in the match.
In Senior Boys’ competition, Antigua State College showcased their superiority with a comprehensive 67-15 win over Island Academy. The well-balanced State College attack was led by Jaleyle Joseph with 12 points, while Naeem Joseph contributed 10 points in the convincing victory.
