Quallis leads Old Road Daggers to comeback victory over Elites 1

A 52-point, 19 rebound and seven steals performance by Ariel Quallis led Old Road Daggers to rally from a 20-point deficit to defeat Wadadli Elites 1, 97-86 in the lone Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) Division Two encounter on Thursday night at the JSC Sports Complex.

Quallis was assisted by Ezekiel Francois who had 29 points, 23 rebounds and seven blocked shots and Victor Osbourne who netted 14, majority of which he recorded from behind the arc with four three-point bombers.

Tequan Brodie was the top scorer for Elites 1 with 24 points. His teammates, Shaheim Omarde had 23 points and 13 rebounds and Jamie Robinson 13 points.

Orion Seraphine joined in netting 10 points in a losing effort.

Games will continue tonight starting at 6:45 with Cuties Ovals Young Gun facing Wadadli Elite 2 while at 8:30, Flyers 2 will battle Fearless Crew 1.

Both games will be played at the JSC.
