The fate of a senior policeman whose male colleagues are accusing him of sexual harassment is to be decided.
The Police Service Commission, which is responsible for the discipline of senior cops, called an emergency meeting on Thursday to discuss the matter, to include commencing an investigation.
It is to be decided whether the senior lawman would be put on leave pending the probe.
The meeting of the seven commissioners came two days after the three complaining male officers and a young man wrote to the commission and asked for a speedy probe.
The officers reported that the sexual advances were made on different occasions over the past three years.
And, they expressed concern about being victimised if the officer continues to hold a senior post. One cop has already reported he has been victimised and certain tools that were assigned to him were taken away after he refused his colleague’s sexual advances.
