Protest outside parliament over controversial Bills

Nurses, Barbudans, members of the opposition and other residents joined in protest over government’s decision to make changes to the Barbuda Land Act and the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre Act, 2009.
The action took place outside the Parliament building this morning as the MPs prepared to debate the changes which are being opposed by the groups accusing the government of stripping them of their rights.
