Saleim Harrigan of Green Bay was sentenced to six months at Her Majesty’s Prison, after he was convicted in the St. Johns Magistrate’s Court on a charge of Possession of Ammunition.
He appeared before Chief Magistrate Joanne Walsh on Tuesday, jointly charged alongside Stacey Barthley with Possession of one 9mm and one .22 round of ammunition.
He pleaded guilty and was sentenced accordingly. The charge against Barthley was withdrawn before the Court. This incident came as a result of an ongoing investigation by the police, where both Harrigan and Barthley were taken into custody immediately following two high-speed chases a week ago.
Barthley is yet to answer to the charge of Perverting the Course of Justice by Making a False Statement, which was also brought against her.
