The police are currently investigating the death of 26-year-old Tariq Simpson of Potters, in what is alleged to be a drowning incident at Deep Bay on Tuesday afternoon. However, they have not confirmed the manner of death to OBSERVER media.
According to a reliable source, Simpson was pronounced dead by a medical examiner at around 6:20 pm yesterday.
He was reportedly frothing at the mouth when he was discovered.
Should an autopsy reveal that the young man did in fact drown, this would be the second such incident in less than a week.
