Police wanted bulletin for Whenner Road Man

The police have issued a wanted bulletin for the immediate arrest of Tony Thomas aka ”Scar” of Whenner Road. He is wanted in connection with a wounding incident which occurred at Ffryes Beach on Sunday. Thomas allegedly attacked a woman known to OBSERVER media only as Laurel, injuring her in the head with what is believed to be a hammer.
In the bulletin released to the media yesterday, the police appealed to Thomas to immediately surrender himself to the nearest police station, accompanied by his attorney or a family member. Lawmen have also warned the general public NOT to make any attempts to engage Thomas if seen, but instead, contact the Rapid Response Unit at 764- 2310\464-3938, or call the Criminal Investigations Department at 462- 3913\463-3914 without delay.
The police are also asking for members of the victim’s family and the general public to immediately desist from making use of threatening language, or any adversarial comments on social media or otherwise against the alleged attacker.
The police said that it is an offence under the Electronic Crimes Act of 2013 for anyone to send by means of an electronic system, any information that is offensive or threatening; or information which is false, causing annoyance, inconvenience, danger, obstruction, insult, injury, intimidation, enmity, hatred or ill will etc, to any person.
