The downward spiral for Police continued on Thursday night in the ongoing Antigua and Barbuda Amateur Volleyball Association (ABAVA) Business League at the YMCA Volleyball Indoor facility.
After beginning the season on an undefeated run, the lawmen suffered three straight losses to APUA, Scotia Bank and on Thursday night, Sandals.
The lawmen went under in straight sets 25-15, 26-24 in the first match of the double-header in their Zone 2 match-up.
In the feature encounter, newbies 77 Bus Service also suffered another loss, this time to powerhouse team, APUA.
The newbies, after narrowly losing the first set to an astonishing 34-32 margin, ran out of gas in the second, losing 25-9.
Games will continue tonight at 6:30 p.m. as Police will face Ministry of National Festivals, the Arts, Culture and Sports
(MFACS) while at 7:30 p.m. Scotia Bank will battle Inland Revenue Department (IRD).
