Embattled Commissioner of Police, Wendell Robinson has been summoned to meeting on the 25th of this month, for a final decision regarding his termination.

A letter to Robinson, dated October 15th, 2019, stated: “The Police Service Commission is minded to terminate your service as Commissioner of Police in the public interest”.

“…The Commission has arranged to receive your representations at a meeting to be held on the 25th October 2019 at 10 am, at the Commission’s Office on Nevis Street. The Commission will then make a final determination on the matter by 31st October 2019,” the letter added.

The Police Service Commission (PSC) claims that it made that decision “having assessed Robinson’s temperament and what appears to be a very [fractious] relationship with the Minister with responsibility for the police”.

In a 19-point bulletin, the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Kelvin John Esq. outlined why the organisation has made the decision to terminate the services of Robinson.
