The ABAVA Business League served up another exciting evening of volleyball action on Saturday at the indoor facility, featuring two compelling matches that showcased both resilience and dominance.

In a gripping opener, newcomers EZ Fit Flyers demonstrated they’re not to be underestimated, pushing Police to their limits in a three-set thriller. The Flyers, making their presence felt in the league, stormed to an impressive first-set victory, 25-21, with strong blocking that kept Police at bay.

However, Police drawing from their experience mounted a spectacular comeback in the second set. Adjusting their strategy, they dominated with a 25-17 score to level the match. The decisive third set had spectators on the edge of their seats as both teams traded powerful shots. In the end, Police’s persistence paid off as they clinched the set 15-12, securing a hard-fought 2-1 match victory.

The evening’s second encounter saw Sandals deliver a masterclass in efficiency against Royalton. From the first serve, Sandals established their authority, claiming the opening set 25-18 with a blend of powerful attacking and strategic play. They maintained their high level of performance in the second set, closing out the match with a 25-20 win for a clean 2-0 sweep.

The action continues on Tuesday evening with two more exciting matchups. Media will face Icons at 7:00 p.m. followed by Nate’s Photography taking on newcomers Island Academy at 8:00 p.m., both promising to deliver more thrilling volleyball action in this increasingly competitive business league season.
