Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred at the Viper Night club around 3:35 a.m. yesterday.
A patron of the night club reported that while he was standing in the club in the company of two women he heard a loud gunshot sound and felt a burning sensation to his head. He then used his hand and touched his head and felt it wet and saw blood on his hands.
The Emergency Medical Service (EMS) was called and transported the patron to the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC).
According to officials at MSJMC, the patron had no life threatening injuries. He was treated and discharged.
Police have since detained the alleged shooter as they continue to investigate the matter.
