The police are actively investigating a shooting incident that took place around 4pm on Monday in Gray’s Farm, leaving one man injured.
According to Police Public Relations Officer Inspector Frankie Thomas, the victim sustained gunshot wounds to his lower back and leg after being attacked by an unknown assailant.
He was rushed to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Center, where he is currently warded in a stable condition while receiving medical treatment.
Authorities have not yet determined the motive behind the attack, and no arrests have been made. However, the police have launched a manhunt for the suspect and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The investigation remains ongoing,and updates will be provided as more details emerge, the police said.
