Prime Minister Gaston Browne has thanked workers at the National Housing Corporation for subsidizing the cost of homes at Dredge Bay by accepting lower wages than they deserved.
Browne made the remarks at the handover ceremony of keys for 48 government built and subsidized homes in his constituency.

The prime minister also addressed concerns of residents who say they are not happy with a pigsty being moved near their homes to get it away from the government housing project.
He addressed the issue while laying out expectations to the home owners on how they should maintain the neighbourhood.

Browne also used the ceremony to order the national housing corporation to hire 24 women.

Meanwhile speaking on the ABLP’s third year in power, Browne addressed criticism of his frequent encouraging to his ministers to enrich themselves legitimately while in public office.
