Playtech donates to Barbuda Relief

Nigel Pigott, general manager of Playtech, handed over a donation of U.S. $25,000 to Lady Sandra Williams at Government House.
The donation goes towards “Project Home”, a Halo Foundation initiative for the supply of furniture and equipment in homes across Barbuda which were destroyed during Hurricane Irma.  
“It is our civic and moral duty to help each other as much as we reasonably can, especially when it comes to losses that affect so many aspects of livelihood,” Pigott said during the presentation. 
Lady Williams expressed appreciation to the Playtech group for the donation, and indicated that
Halo will be working closely with the Barbuda Council, the Waitt Foundation, Samaritan’s Purse and
other charitable causes to ensure that the distribution of supplies is executed as smoothly and as equitably as possible. She also indicated that status reports will be provided to the Ministry of Barbuda Affairs at various project milestones.
