Pigotts Bullets and Parham FC secured victories on Wednesday in the Parham Super League, which has been heating up with recent matches, delivering thrilling action and setting the stage for an exciting run to the finals.

Pigotts FC showcased their offensive prowess in a commanding 6-0 victory over Greenbay Hoppers FC. The star of the match was undoubtedly Shafeeq Joseph, who netted an impressive hat-trick with goals in the 17th, 20th, and 54th minutes. Pigotts FC’s dominance continued with additional goals from Akeem Isaac (48′), Shamoi Andrew (49′), and Kevaughn Abercome (63′), leaving Greenbay Hoppers FC struggling to find answers to their opponent’s relentless attack.

In a tightly contested match, Parham FC emerged victorious with a 2-1 win over FC Master Ballerz. The game saw an early goal from the Ballerz’s Avante Warner in the 22nd minute, putting pressure on Parham FC. However, fortunes changed when Marvin Moses of FC Master Ballerz scored an unfortunate own goal in the 28th minute, levelling the score. Parham FC sealed their win in the 61st minute with a goal from Jawarn Locker to end the match 2-1 in favour of the home side.

The League is now set for its crucial knockout stages, with matches scheduled as follows: on Sunday 8th, Parham FC will host Garden Stars FC at 6pm in the last quarterfinal, while in the first semifinal Willikies FC will take on Freeman’s Village FC at 7:30pm.

Then on Wednesday 11th, Pigotts will battle the winner of the Parham FC/Garden Stars clash at 6:30pm.

The finals will be played 6:30pm on Saturday at Parham football field.
