Pares Secondary trump St. Mary’s in School Netball league

Pares Secondary outmaneuvered St. Mary’s School of Excellence 12-6 last Friday afternoon at the YMCA Sports Complex in the Inter-School Netball 16-and-under competition.
Goal-shooter, Jemiah Joseph, netted seven of her nine attempts for the victors with goal-attacker, Halle Small making five of her 11.
St. Mary’s Maselga Parker sank four of her seven attempts while goal-attacker, Elisha Toussaint made two out of her five..
The ladies in pink and grey dominated Irene B. Williams 15-7, continuing their undefeated streak.
Goal-attacker, Earlita Destin sank 10 of her 13 shots while teammate Anya Simon scored five of her 11 attempts.
Irene B’s Cherez George made four and Keandre Comic, three in a losing effort.
Jennings Secondary also found itself in the winner’s circle trumping Glanvilles Secondary, 15-8.
Keana Aska led the charge for the victors scoring 11 with assistance from Shaniqua Browne who netted four.
Glanvilles’ Shania Himerick and Anique Christopher both scored four.
The lone match in the 18-and-under category saw Antigua State College dismiss Jennings Secondary, 15-7.
Kahtalia Valentine and Anajae Simon netted eight for the victors while Keana Aska and Shaniqua Browne made five and two shots in a losing effort.
